SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Endicott College senior goalkeeper Chelsea DeFeo (York, Maine) was awarded the TCCC Defensive Player of the Week award as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Monday. The award marks the third straight week where a Gull has been awarded one of the weekly honors.

DeFeo was able to lead the Gulls to a perfect 2-0 week with victories over Maine-Farmington and TCCC foe Anna Maria. In the game against the Beavers, the senior net-minder was able to record her third shutout of the season by making six saves in a 2-0 victory. Against the Anna Maria AMCATS, DeFeo played only the first half but was able to factor in the decision as she earned her fourth shutout of the season despite facing zero shots as the Gulls won 9-0 in their first TCCC game of the year.

DeFeo looks to help the Gulls improve on their four game win streak when they take on the Bridgewater State College Bears at North Field in non-conference action on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
