Rheaume named Senior Scholar, Beech First Team

BEVERLY, MA - 2006 Conference Player of the Year Jennifer Rheaume (Blackstone, MA/Blackstone-Millville Regional) was awarded The Commonwealth Coast Conference's Senior Scholar Athlete award for the 2007 season. Teammate Jennifer Beech (Devonshire, Bermuda/Saltas Grammar) was awarded First Team conference recognition while Rheaume headlines the Conference's Second Team honorees.

Rheaume, an interior design major, has compiled a 3.77 GPA at Endicott. The Blackstone, Mass. native has won international recognition for her outstanding interior design projects and received publications in peer reviewed professional journals. She has made considerable contributions on the field as well, earning Player of the Year in 2006. This season Rheaume has tallied 18 points on seven goals and four assists to lead the Gulls.

Jennifer Beech earns her second-straight TCCC First Team selection as she has served as one of the top backs in the conference this season. Beech has four goals and three assists to go along with her team-high six defensive saves.

Endicott returns to action on Wednesday afternoon as they travel to Henniker, New Hampshire to take on New England College at 1:30 p.m. The Gulls advanced to the TCCC Semifinals with an upset victory over Western New England College on Saturday afternoon in Springfield, Mass.
