SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Following a week in which she was named to the Brandeis Invitational All-Tournament Team, Lauren Sheehan (Bainbridge Island, Wash.) was also named CCC Player of the Week.
The honor comes after she averaged 3.83 kills/set, 1.92 digs/set and hit .372 in the 4-0 week for the Gulls, the best start in program history. The sophomore outside set new career highs in kills and hitting percentage twice on the week, first against Simmons in a 3-0 sweep when she registered 16 kills and hit .542 and then again in the team's 3-1 win over Keene State in which she picked up 19 kills and hit .621 for the match.
