SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- The Endicott women's volleyball team has been picked fourth in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Preseason Poll as was announced by the Commissioner's Office on Monday.
The Gulls received 59 points towards the poll and one first place vote after finishing the 2014 campaign with an 18-17 record overall and a 5-3 record in CCC play. Last season came to an end in the CCC Semifinals in a five set thriller to eventual CCC champ Roger Williams.
Defending champions Roger Williams has be named the preseason favorite, garnering 76 points and four first place votes to lead the poll. Salve Regina came in a close second, receiving 69 points and three first place votes while Western New England has been chosen to finish third, claiming 65 points and one first place vote.
Behind Endicott and in fifth place is the University of New England (42 points), sixth place Gordon (38 points), Wentworth (27 points) in seventh, Curry (15 points) in eighth and Eastern Nazarene (14 points) in ninth.
