Phillips recognized for performance at Endicott Invitational
Endicott College senior outside hitter \#Brittany Phillips\# (Sudbury, Mass.) averaged 2.75 kills and 3.06 digs per set en route to Most Valuable Player honors at the Endicott Invitational. Phillips, who led the Gulls to a 4-0 weekly record, posted three consecutive double-doubles to close out the tournament. 
 
Phillips recorded 11 kills and 18 digs in a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Middlebury, added 10 kills and 11 digs in a 3-1 win over Eastern Connecticut State, and finished strong with 14 kills and 13 digs in a 3-1 triumph over Plymouth State in the championship match. With the sweep, the Gulls improve to 7-1 on the season. 

The accolade marks Phillips’ third player of the week award in the last three years. 

The Blue and Green hit the road for four consecutive road matches this week. On Tuesday, the Gulls travel to Waltham for a matchup with the UAA’s Brandeis University before heading to UMass-Boston on Thursday. 

On Saturday, the University of New England hosts a conference tri-match featuring Endicott and Regis in Biddeford, Maine.
