BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's ice hockey team saw two student-athletes named to the 2017-18 New England Hockey Writers' Division III Women's Hockey All-Star Team, as announced by the New England Hockey Writers' Association on Wednesday morning. Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) and Jillian Gibbs (Burlington, Vt.) were both named to the All-Star team as forwards.
Gibbs led the Gulls in goals (13), assists (16) and points (29) throughout 27 games played during the 2017-18 season. She also earned 2017-18 Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) All-Conference First Team accolades for her efforts.
Meier compiled 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points in 27 games played for Endicott. For her efforts throughout the season, she was named CHC Player of the Week once (2/5/18) and also earned a spot on the CHC All-Conference First Team.
2017-18 YEAR IN REVIEW
Endicott (19-6-2, 8-2-2 CHC) finished the 2017-18 season with a tough 3-2 overtime loss to Morrisville State in the CHC Championship game on Sunday, March 4.
