CCC TOURNAMENT: Endicott Set To Host CCC Softball Tournament Contests On Friday

CCC TOURNAMENT BRACKET / RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 1 seeded Endicott softball team is set to host Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament games on Friday, May 3. 

SCOUTING ENDICOTT (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS): The Gulls enter the tournament with an overall record of 28-4 and clinched the No. 1 seed with a perfect 16-0 CCC record. Overall, Endicott leads the conference in team batting average (.316), runs (197), RBI (184), and triples (15). The Gulls saw seven student-athletes recently earn All-CCC honors. Jamie Hopgood (Warwick, R.I.), Adrianna Favreau (Tewksbury, Mass.), and Gina DeMilt (Princeton, N.J.) were all named to the First Team, Laura Somerville (Suffield, Conn.) and Lauren Misiaszek (Londonderry, N.H.) were selected to the Second Team, and Maggie Oram (Lexington, Mass.) and Peyton Atkins (Goshen, N.Y.) earned Third Team honors. 

SCOUTING ROGER WILLIAMS (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS): Endicott and Roger Williams played on Sunday, April 16 and the Gulls came away with a doubleheader sweep. The Gulls picked up a 9-1 win during the first game and a 5-0 shutout during the second game. The Hawks enter the tournament as the No. 5 seed with an overall record of 19-20 and an 8-8 mark in CCC play. 

SCOUTING SALVE REGINA (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS): The Gulls and the Seahawks previously met this season on Saturday, March 30 and Endicott posted two wins. They won the first contest, 5-3, and the second, 4-0.

Salve Regina enters the tournament as the No. 4 seed with a 21-19 overall record and 9-7 conference record. 

SCOUTING GORDON (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS): Gordon and Endicott previously met on Monday, April 1 and the Gulls picked up a doubleheader sweep. Endicott won the first game by a score of 4-2 and the second, 14-6. Gordon enters the tournament as the No. 7 seed with an overall record of 19-19 and a 5-11 conference record. 

SCOUTING THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS): The Gulls and the Nor'easters met earlier in the season on Saturday, April 13 and Endicott recorded a doubleheader sweep. In the first game, the Gulls came away with a 5-4 victory and in the second they notched a 10-2 win. The University of New England enters the weekend as the No. 2 seed with an overall record of 25-14 and a 12-4 CCC mark.  

SCOUTING NICHOLS (SCHEDULE | ROSTER | STATS): Endicott and Nichols last played each other on Tuesday, April 23 and the Gulls won the first matchup, 7-0, and the second, 11-2. Nichols enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed with a 17-18-1 overall record and an 8-6 record in conference play.
