CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Endicott softball team will host a first round game in this week’s Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Tournament as the \#3 seed when they take on the six-seeded Worcester State Lancers on Wednesday, May 9th at 4:00 pm.
University Athletic Association (UAA) member Brandeis claimed the top seed in the tournament after going 23-16 in regular season play. Endicott’s Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) foe Salve Regina was awarded the two-seed after falling in the CCC Championship on Saturday. After Endicott, Plymouth State rounds out the teams hosting first round games after the Panthers went 21-20 and exited the Little East Tournament with a 1-2 record.
The number five through eight seeds are Rivier, Worcester State, Simmons and Daniel Webster.
Following Wednesday’s first round games, the highest remaining seed will host the semifinal and championship games.
