The Blue and Green allowed Gordon to score seven runs between the third and fourth innings to take a 7-4 lead but Endicott rallied with four runs in top half of both the sixth and seventh innings to take game one 12-7.

Seven different Endicott players recorded RBIs with junior Krista Fales (Melrose, Mass.) and sophomore Kelley Michael (Ipswich, Mass.) leading the way with two RBIs apiece.

Down 7-4 in the top of the sixth, Michael doubled in Alexandra Moise (North Reading, Mass.) and Jesse Bilafer (Concord, Mass.) to pull the Gulls to within one.  After Michael reached third on a single by Byrne Katz (Trumbull, Conn.), she scored on a fielder’s choice grounder by Fales to tie the game.  A groundout by Alli Noyes (Tewksbury, Mass.) handed Endicott the 8-7 advantage as Katz raced home from third.

Endicott gained four insurance runs in the top of the seventh on RBI singles by Bilafer and Fales, a Gordon error and a groundout by Nicole Devlin (Dudley, Mass.) that plated Endicott’s final run.

After Gulls freshman Cam Sprague (Clifton Park, N.Y.) started the game and threw 3 1/3 innings with six strikeouts, sophomore Nell O’Connor (Harwich, Mass.) came on to pitch the final 3 2/3 innings to earn the win.  Sprague earned the win to improve to 3-3 as she left with the lead in the fourth inning.

Game Two: Endicott 13, Gordon 3 (6 inn.)
