CCC Athletes of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior designated player and first baseman Colleen Martin (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) was named this week’s CCC Player of the Week after batting .462 with two homeruns, four RBI and three runs scored in a 2-2 week for the Gulls heading into the conference playoff tournament.

Martin recorded two multiple-hit games including a 3-for-4 day at the plate against Salve Regina in game one of a doubleheader.  She hit her first homerun of the week and had two RBIs in a 7-0 rout over the Seahawks.  Later in the week, Martin roped another two hits, including her fifth long ball of the season, in a tough 3-2 loss to Western New England. 

For the week, Martin slugged 1.000 on the week with three of her six hits going for extra bases. 

Endicott continues their CCC Tournament run on Thursday, May 3^rd with a game against the \#8 seed Eastern Nazarene at 2:30 pm down in Newport, Rhode Island.
