KEENE, N.H. – The Endicott men's cross country team ranked seventh overall out of 21 teams at the Keene State Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Williams won the meet with a team score of 15 points, as the Ephs took the first nine spots in today's race.
Eastern Connecticut State (152), Plymouth State (156), Bridgewater State (158), UMass Dartmouth (168), Tufts (171), Endicott (212), host Keene State (214), Southern Maine (278), and Saint Anselm (306) made up the remainder of the top-10
Josh Lehmann (Gorham, Maine) finished first for the Gulls on the 8-kilometer layout, crossing the line in 26:01.60 (17th overall).
Caleb Nye (Hinesburg, Vt.) and Cooper Downey (Hudson, N.H.) both placed in the top-50 out of the 237-person field with times of 26:17.80 (22nd) and 26:45.60 (32nd).
Meanwhile, Dawson Romito (Boxford, Mass.) and Griffin DePalma (Meriden, Conn.) rounded out the Gulls' scoring lineup in 64th (27:23.40) and 125th (28:48.40) place, respectively.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Endicott's top-5 average was 27:03.
- Downey, DePalma, Romito, and Will Johnson (Andover, Mass.) – 30:48, 179th overall – all notched personal bests.
- The Gulls bested Conference of New England (CNE) foes Hartford (12th, 330), Wentworth (15th, 349), and Western New England (18th, 475).
