Men’s Cross Country Places Fifth At CCC Championship

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Endicott men's cross country team finished fifth overall at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship, hosted by Western New England, on Saturday afternoon.

Roger Williams took home top honors with a score of 35 points, while Suffolk (55), Gordon (93), the University of New England (103), Endicott (130), Nichols (145), Wentworth (186), and Western New England (204) followed in respective order.

Individually for the Gulls, Caleb Nye (Hinesburg, Vt.) earned his first career CCC All-Conference honor via his sixth place performance (27:24) on the 8-kilometer course.

The remainder of Endicott's top-5 included Cooper Downey (Hudson, N.H.), Colin Costa (West Newbury, Mass.), Andrew Lauzon (North Andover, Mass.), and Josh Lehmann (Gorham, Maine). The quartet ranked 21st (28:21), 22nd (28:22), 35th (29:00), and 63rd (30:07) overall, respectively.

Endicott will compete in the NCAA Division III East Regionals on Saturday, November 13 at Franklin Park (Boston, Mass.).
