Men’s Cross Country Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Award

2019 USTFCCCA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM LIST

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's cross country program has been named to the 2019 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Cross Country Team list.

The Gulls posted a 3.16 cumulative grade point average (GPA) to join 171 other NCAA Division III programs in receiving the award. It also marks the third time in the last four seasons that the men's team has earned the award.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.

"It's always great to see our teams perform well in the classroom," said Endicott men's cross country head coach Spencer Lange. "The daily responsibilities of student-athletes can be a lot to manage, so it's important to be able to prioritize academic success."
