John Osborne Earns NECC Player of the Week Honors

BEVERLY, Mass. – Senior outside hitter John Osborne (Freehold, N.J.) has been honored as the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week for the week of April 4-April 10, 2016.

Osborne was named the NECC Tournament Most Valuable Player for the second consecutive season, as he registered a double-double on 17 kills (.318) and a match-high 14 digs in the Gulls' 3-1 victory over Daniel Webster in the NECC Championship.

Osborne also added three assists and a perfect serve-receive percentage (19 total attempts) to his stat line in the victory as the Gulls claimed their fourth-straight NECC title.

In the NECC Semifinals, Osborne contributed nine kills (.421) and 11 digs as the Gulls defeated Elms, 3-1, on Friday.

Endicott travels to Union, N.J. where the Gulls will face No. 10 nationally-ranked Kean University on Saturday, April 16 in the first round of NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Championship.
