SMITHFIELD, R.I. — The Endicott men's rugby team finished third overall at the North Atlantic Collegiate Rugby (NACR) Qualifier on Sunday evening.
The Gulls defeated Bentley (26-0), Middlebury (36-0), and Salve Regina (35-0) to start the day.
Endicott followed with a loss to Providence (35-21) before bouncing back in the third place match against Holy Cross (19-5).

"We're proud of our third place finish today," said Endicott men's rugby head coach Dan Jeffery. "The boys left it all out on the field, winning four out of five games in our final regular season tournament."

Brad DiGiacomo (Simsbury, Conn.) — Phenomenal effort from the big man in both attack and defense all day. Inspirational plays all the way up until his final seconds on the field of the final game.

Ian Kearney (Cork, Ireland) — Made a tackle in the final match of the day that saved the game and possibly our season. True desperation and grit playing through injury and coming up in a big spot for us.
