Dan Jeffery Named Endicott Men’s Rugby Head Coach

BEVERLY, Mass. — Dan Jeffery has been named the next head coach of the Endicott College men's rugby program.

"I'm excited for this opportunity to be a part of the Endicott men's rugby program and look forward to getting rolling into this season and beyond with the boys," said Jeffery. "I'm also thrilled to begin play in our new conference and ready to take this program to even greater heights."

A native of Sydney, Australia, Jeffery grew up with a rugby ball in his hands, eventually playing collegiately at Macquarie University, Sydney, and at representative levels, including China (player/coach, Guangzhou Rams Rugby Club) and South Korea (coach, Ulsan Goblins Rugby Club).

Jeffery graduated from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Sport and Exercise) and is Level 1 Rugby Coaching certified.

His additional coaching experiences are highlighted by his time at the YMCA, Big Fun Camps (Director of Sports), and Senior All Sports (International Sports Training Camp Coach).

This season, Jeffery will be charged with leading the Gulls into a new conference, dubbed North Atlantic Collegiate Rugby (NACR).

Endicott will now compete against Norwich, Salve Regina, Roger Williams, Springfield, Bryant, and Stonehill in its new league.

The five-time CCRC Champions begin their 2024-25 season on the road against Norwich (9/7, time TBD).
