No. 8 Men’s Rugby Upends Wheaton (Mass.), 95-0

NORTON, Mass. — The No. 8 nationally ranked Endicott men's rugby team defeated Wheaton (Mass.), 95-0, on Friday night at Nordin Field.

Leading the way offensively for the Gulls was Jordan Chappell (Sunapee, N.H.) who found the try zone three times.

Graham Lynch (Windsor, Conn.) also buried six conversions (12 points), while Teyshawn Jackson (Windsor, Conn.), Brad DiGiacomo (Simsbury, Conn.), and Jaden Carnevale (Coventry, R.I.) all had two tries apiece.

Carnevale registered the first points of his collegiate career alongside Connor Fountain (Danvers, Mass.) and Kyle Ernest (Severna Park, Md.). Fountain added a try to the ledger, while Ernest notched his first points on conversions.

Defensively, Andrew Coscia (Orange, Conn.) was dominant for the Gulls as the sophomore prop delivered menacing tackles in the shutout.

For their efforts, Coscia and Carnevale were selected as Men of the Match.
