BEVERLY, MA - Endicott freshman attackman Brandon Dube (Danvers, MA/Danvers) was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week Monday after helping the Gulls secure the No. 1 seed in the CCC Tournament.

Dube netted seven goals and assisted on two others in a 3-0 week for Endicott, which is 12-4 overall and 8-0 in the CCC. The Gulls earned a first round bye in the conference tourney and will await the Roger Williams/Wentworth winner.

Wentworth is the No. 4 seed and Roger Williams is the No. 5 seed. The winner will travel to Endicott Stadium for a Thursday afternoon contest beginning at 4:00 PM. The Gulls dropped Roger Williams 18-7 at home and defeated Wentworth 16-5 at home this season.

Dube is 13th in the conference in points per game (2.50) in his first season. He has amassed 19 goals and 21 assists in 16 contests.

Dube's 19 goals ranks fourth on the team behind Burt Fahy's (Needham, MA/Needham) team-leading 54 goals, Josh Gilbert's (Simsbury, CT/Simsbury) 37, and Kevin Lally's (Derry, NH/Pinkerton) 20 tallies. His 1.31 assists per game ranks seventh in the CCC.

The Gulls' four losses came to nationally ranked Bates, Wesleyan and Tufts as well as Connecticut College. All four schools are in the dominant New England Small College Athletic Conference.
