Henniker, NH - New England College Men's Lacrosse fell to 1-12 overall and 0-8 in the CCC losing to the visiting Endicott College Gulls 22-3 Saturday afternoon. The win improves Endicott College to 12-4 overall and 8-0 in the CCC. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the Gulls have finished undefeated in the conference. With the victory, Endicott also takes the CCC regular season title.
The two teams would exchange goals before Endicott would go on a 9-0 run and head into halftime ahead 10-1. The Pilgrims would try to get something going offensively in the third quarter scoring two goals but the Gulls would prove too tough scoring five goals in the third and seven in the fourth to capture the 22-3 victory.
Leading the way for Endicott College was Kevin Lally (Derry, NH/Pinkerton Academy) who finished with a game-high six points including three goals and three assists. Endicott's Burt Fahy (Needham, MA/Needham) and Brandon Dube (Danvers, MA/Danvers) would each scored four goals for the Gulls, while David Scarfo (Billerica, MA/Billerica) would score three goals and finish with two assists.
Leading the way for NEC was Kyle Burke (Winnetka, IL) who finished the afternoon with two goals and an assist. NEC's Dillion Lantz (Woodstock, VT) would score the other Pilgrim goal.
Picking up the win in goal for Endicott College was Ryan Walsh (Weymouth, MA/Weymouth) who recorded four saves on the afternoon. In goal for NEC was Matt Cotter (Sandwich, MA)who finished with 22 saves.
