BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott junior guard Kamahl Walker (Worcester, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his efforts in last weekend's Keene State College Tip-Off Tournament.
Walker, who led Endicott to a 1-1 record in the tournament and claimed a spot on the All-Tournament team, was lights out in both games as the junior guard scored 69 points over the two-day span.
On Sunday, Walker poured in a single-game program record 47-points, which was highlighted by his perfect 23-for-23 showing at the free throw line (both his attempts and makes totals are also new program single-game records).
Endicott (1-1) will return to action this weekend in Middletown, Conn. in the Herb Kenny Tip-Off Tournament on Friday and Saturday. The Gulls will open up the tournament against Clark University on Friday at 8 p.m.
