BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott College’s \#Anna Giannoni\# (Granby, Conn.) and \#Joanne Reid\# (Clarksville, Md.) have been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III All-New England East Region Second Team as announced by the NFHCA on November 18th. Reid was also selected to the 2009 ECAC Division III  New England Field Hockey All-Star Second Team. Giannoni and Reid helped lead the Gulls to a 12-9 mark this season and an appearance in the ECAC Semifinals.

Reid and Giannoni were the backbone of the Endicott offense that was third in the conference in goals scored. For the second consecutive season, both players were selected to The Commonwealth Coast Conference All-TCCC First Team.

Reid led the Gulls in points (27), goals (10) and assists (7) this season while Giannoni, the 2008 TCCC Rookie of the Year, tied Reid in goals scored (10) while also being second on the team in points (22). Both players finished in the top-10 in the TCCC in goals scored while Reid was eighth in the conference in assists.
