Endicott Places League Record 147 Student-Athletes On Spring 2024 CCC Academic All-Conference Team

BEVERLY, Mass. — A league record 147 Endicott College student-athletes were named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Spring Academic All-Conference Team on Friday.

Today's announcement marks the eighth straight season the Gulls have led their conference peers with the most student-athletes recognized to the CCC Spring Academic All-Conference list and the second consecutive spring breaking the league record (144 last year).

Endicott led the second place institution by more than 40 honorees.

Additionally, five Gulls' programs ranked first overall in their respective sport for having the most honorees. 

That list includes baseball (24), men's basketball (11), men's lacrosse (22), men's tennis (7, tied w/ Gordon), and women's lacrosse (17).

To be eligible for CCC Spring Academic All-Conference consideration, student-athletes must have met the following criteria:

  • at least sophomore status athletically and academically with one academic year in residence at their current institution
  • hold a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • active member of a roster for a Conference-sponsored sport

Please note that graduate transfers are eligible regardless of enrollment at their current institution. First-years, freshmen, and undergraduate transfers in their first semester at their current institution are not eligible.

The spring list includes participants from each of the CCC's member institutions who competed in men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, baseball, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's tennis, and men's and women's track and field student-athletes.

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 10 full-member and two associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and a meaningful student life. The Conference administers championships in 20 intercollegiate sports.
