Five volleyballers earn All-TCCC honors
Springfield, Mass. – Five members of the Endicott women’s volleyball team garnered All-The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) accolades on Tuesday, headlined by senior \#Brittany Phillips\#’ (Sudbury, Mass.) First Team selection. Juniors \#Sarah Allshouse\# (Berthoud, Colo.) and \#Elyse Barbour\# (Greenville, R.I.) were named to the Second Team while senior \#Amy Grigg\# (Vernon, Conn.) and sophomore \#Falyn Torelli\# (Pelham, N.Y.) earned Honorable Mention recognition.
Eight different institutions from The Commonwealth Coast Conference were represented on the 2010 All-Conference team. Roger Williams’ senior Rebekah Dion was named TCCC Player of the Year while teammate Krystie Luczynski was named Rookie of the Year.   Colby Sawyer’s Allyson Le-Bruno was named Libero of the year. Roger Williams’ Brittney Sullivan was named Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year while Hawks’ head coach Bret Stothart was named Coach of the Year. Anna Maria College was recognized with the team sportsmanship award.  
Brittany Phillips leads the Endicott (20-14, 9-1 TCCC) offense in kills (354) and ranks second in digs (394). The senior outside hitter recently moved into third place all-time in career kills at Endicott. The award was the second straight for Phillips after being named Second Team All-TCCC as a junior. 
Junior transfer Sarah Allshouse has made an immediate impact for the Gulls. Allshouse leads the Gulls and the conference in assists with 1,026 while also contributing 54 blocks. 
Junior Elyse Barbour is currently third on the team in kills (269) and second in blocks with 108.  Barbour was named Second Team All-TCCC as a junior.  
Senior middle blocker Amy Grigg leads the Gulls with 122 blocks. She is currently six blocks shy of setting the program record for blocks in a career, currently held by Hayley Janelle ’08.
Sophomore outside hitter Falyn Torelli ranks second on the team in kills (276) and service aces (32). 
The second-seeded Gulls host Gordon College tonight (Nov. 2) at 7:00 pm in the quarterfinals of the TCCC Tournament. Endicott was a 3-0 winner over visiting Gordon when the two teams met on Oct. 28.
