Volleyball hosts Gordon for Senior Night
Beverly, Mass. – On Thursday night, the Endicott volleyball team will honor three members of the Class of 2011 as a part of Senior Night against Gordon College at 7:00 pm. To date, they have amassed an overall record of 877-55 (.613) and boast a 35-3 (.921) record in the conference.

During their time at Endicott, they have been part of team trips to both St. Louis and California and have been key contributors to the team’s establishment as one of the top programs in New England. Over the next two weeks, they will have the opportunity to become only the second class to earn three TCCC Championships during their four years here.

\#Amy Grigg\# (Vernon, Conn.) -
Amy has been a four-year starter for the team and ranks in the top-10 in matches and sets played at Endicott. She is currently the program leader in block assists and is 13 blocks shy of becoming the program’s all-time career block leader. Outside of the volleyball court, Amy is always willing to help with any art and design projects and was the creator of our “Dig Pink” design and numerous other projects. Last spring, she had the opportunity to do a semester in Italy and is currently doing her internship with Rockport publishers.

\#Ally Murphy\# (Gilford, N.H.) -
Ally has played both defensive specialist and setter over her four years at Endicott and has excelled at both. With the team running a 6-2 offense over the past two seasons, Ally was one of the two setters and was the team leader in assists. This season she has returned to the role of defensive specialist and has helped to anchor the team’s serve receive while also leading the team in numerous serving categories. Ally served as a student assistant with the men’s volleyball program last season and is currently doing her Physical Education teaching practicum at Marblehead High School.

\#Brittany Phillips\# (Sudbury, Mass.)
- Brittany (Phil) is perhaps the most versatile offensive player the program has seen and has spent time in all three positions (middle, rightside and outside) at the net during her time at Endicott.   She recently moved into third place on the all-time kills list, proving that she is able to get kills anywhere along the net. She is ten sets shy of becoming the program’s all-time sets played leader and five matches shy of the all-time matches played record. Phil also had the chance to travel to Italy for a semester abroad last spring and is currently doing her communications internship at Puma.
