Women’s Tennis will Face Farmingdale State in First Round of the NCAA Tournament at Amherst

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA has released the 2014 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Tournament field of 50 and Endicott will be traveling to Amherst on Thursday, May 8th to face Farmingdale State in the First Round. Endicott (14-3) earned an automatic bid into the tournament after earning the programs third consecutive CCC Championship.

The Blue and Green defeated conference foe Nichols in the CCC Championship in a 5-1 decision back on October 12. Farmingdale State (15-2) earned an automatic bid into the national tournament after clinching the programs first-ever Skyline Conference Championship back in October.

In preparations for the upcoming NCAA Tournament the Gulls have competed in three spring matches where they have gone 3-0 earning victories over Bridgewater State, Clark (Mass.) and Springfield.

The winner of the match will move into the Second Round where they will face Amherst (18-3) who is currently #1 in the Northeast Regional Rankings.
