Endicott Jumps in USILA National and NEILA Regional Polls

USILA Division III Poll – Week 5
NEILA Regional Rankings #6

BEVERLY, Mass. – After going 2-0 last week, including a victory over NESCAC rival Middlebury and a rout of CCC opponent Nichols to extend their recent win-streak to three games, the Endicott men's lacrosse team climbed two spots in the USILA Division III Week Six Poll to #15 in the country and one spot in the NEILA Division III Week Seven Regional Poll to #3 in New England.

Endicott is also joined by #7 Tufts, #13 Springfield, #18 Wesleyan (Conn.), and #20 Bowdoin as New England institutions appearing on the USILA's national poll this week. The Gulls trail Tufts and Wesleyan in the NEILA regional poll.

The Gulls (7-2, 3-0) have two important conference match ups this week against Wentworth (3-5, 0-2) and Gordon (5-5, 1-1) before they travel down to Medford to take on the #7 ranked Tufts Jumbos (7-1) on Tuesday, April 8th. Endicott and Wentworth faceoff on Tuesday, April 1st at 7:00 pm while Endicott and Gordon meet on Saturday, April 5th at 3:00 pm. Both games will be held at Endicott Stadium.

Endicott traveled down to Brown University's Stevenson Field to take on Middlebury in a neutral site showdown with their NESCAC opposition. The Gulls got a career-high six goals and seven points from junior midfielder Jeremy Morgan (Lake Panamoka, N.Y.) and 16 saves in the cage from sophomore goalie Cameron Bell (Falmouth, Maine) as Endicott handed the Panthers a 14-12 defeat.

Over the weekend, Endicott visited Nichols and saw 16 different goal-scorers put up big offensive numbers in a 26-8 triumph over the Bison. A combined nine points from junior attackers Nick Pinciaro (Beverly, Mass.) and Kyle Weber (West Hartford, Conn.) as well as a season-high four goals from sophomore Mitchell Tapley (Falmouth, Maine) fueled Endicott's offensive outburst on Saturday.
