2014 InsideLacrosse Division III All-American Team

BALTIMORE, Md. - InsideLacrosse revealed their 2014 Face-Off Yearbook Division III All-Americans and Endicott senior defenseman Breck Merritt (Weston, Mass.) and sophomore goalie Cameron Bell (Falmouth, Maine) were among the honorees. Merritt and Bell are coming off 2013 seasons in which they were both recognized by the USILA as Division III All-American Honorable Mention players.

The InsideLacrosse Division III All-American Team is selected by the IL staff and names 12 student-athletes on the First, Second, and Third Team with an additional 51 being listed on the Honorable Mention squad.

Merritt was named a Third Team All-American after putting up strong numbers playing in just 14 of Endicott's 19 games in 2013.  Merritt totaled 41 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers as the Gulls went 10-4 with him in the lineup.  Merritt was honored as a All-CCC First Team Defender, NEILA All-New England, and USILA All-America Honorable Mention in his junior season.

Bell was listed as a Honorable Mention All-American after a 2013 rookie campaign that saw him take over as the team's goalie just one game into the season and run away with CCC Rookie of Year honors.  Bell logged over 1,000 minutes between the pipes for the Gulls, averaging 9.17 goals against with a .549 save percentage and 186 saves overall.  Bell went 12-5 and helped Endicott to the CCC Championship game for the 10th time in 14 seasons. Along with his CCC Rookie of the Year award, Bell was also named to the All-CCC First Team, NEILA All-New England, ECAC New England First Team, and USILA All-America Honorable Mention.
