Cotter and Bell Add Corvias ECAC DIII Players of the Week to Weekly Honors

CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Junior midfielder Harrison Cotter (Lordship, Conn.) and sophomore goalie Cameron Bell (Falmouth, Maine) added Corvias ECAC DIII Men's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week to their names after earning CCC honors on Monday as the two were integral in facilitating a pair of Endicott wins over Western New England (20-6) and Bowdoin (18-10) last week. The Gulls secure the top spot in the upcoming CCC Tournament after their rout over the Golden Bears with Cotter putting up a career-high seven goals and Bell making 16 saves in the cage. 

Endicott is now 12-3 (7-0 CCC) heading into their final regular season and CCC game of this spring before CCC Tournament action begins on Saturday, April 26th with quarterfinal play. The Gulls face-off against Curry tonight at 7:00 pm in Milton, Massachusetts as Endicott looks to establish their best regular season finish since the 2008 season in which they went 14-2. 

This week's ECAC Offensive Player of the Week, Cotter scored a career-high seven goals in both games against Western New England and Bowdoin while setting a new career-high for points in a single game on Saturday versus the Polar Bears as the junior added an assist for an eight point game. Cotter set a personal-best this week with nine ground balls against the Golden Bears while tacking on another six ground balls against Bowdoin. He now has a team-high 58 points and 46 goals scored with 12 assists. 

Bell, this week's ECAC Defensive Player of the Week, was a force between the pipes for the Gulls who beat previously unbeaten Western New England in conference play. In a 20-6 victory over Western New England, Bell made 16 saves for a .727 save percentage. In 54:10 minutes of action of an 18-10 victory over Bowdoin, the sophomore recorded 12 saves and a .600 save percentage. Bell's performance against Bowdoin improved Endicott's record to 3-2 against NESCAC opponents this season. This spring, Bell is 12-3 with an 8.09 goals against average and a .579 save percentage with 151 saves in 815:36 minutes in the cage.
