Endicott Places 31 On NEFC All-Academic Team

2015 NEFC ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE LIST

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott football team has placed 31 student-athletes on the New England Football Conference (NEFC) Academic All-Conference Team. Over the last three seasons, the Gulls have had 30 or more student-athletes earn a spot on the NEFC Academic All-Conference list.

To qualify for the NEFC All-Academic Team, players must have completed at least three semesters at the same institution and maintained a cumulative 3.0 or better grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).

193 student-athletes in total received NEFC Academic All-Conference honors this season, which bettered last year's number by four. MIT led all programs with 45 selections, while Salve Regina finished second (34), and just in front of Endicott by three selections. Coast Guard (21), Western New England University (20), Maine Maritime (16), Nichols (15), and Curry (11) rounded out the remaining teams in the conference.

Highlighting the list individually for Endicott were Ryan Brannigan (East Greenwich, R.I.), Tyler Calitri (West Hartford, Conn.), Jamison Craft (Phillipston, Mass.), and Andrew Edwards (Falmouth, Maine) as all four student-athletes picked up their third career NEFC Academic All-Conference honor.

Endicott posted a 5-5 record overall, and a 5-2 mark in NEFC play in 2015.
