Regan and Anderson Named Preseason All-Americans by USA College Football

2015 USA College Football Preseason All-Americans

BEVERLY, Mass. – Two returning members of the 2015 Endicott football were named to the USA College Football Preseason All-American teams as junior defensive lineman and captain Craig Anderson (Franklin, Mass.) as well as junior placekicker and punter Kyle Regan (Nashua, N.H.) were among the national honorees.

Regan, a NEFC Second Team placekicker in his sophomore season last fall, was named to the USA College Football Preseason All-American Second Team while Anderson, a 2014 NEFC Second Teamer and 2013 NEFC Defensive Rookie of the Year, was placed on the Honorable Mention squad. Anderson also excelled academically with CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District First Team accolades, Endicott Academic Varsity Club, and NEFC Academic All-Conference as a criminal justice major.

Regan was 6-of-9 (.667) on field goal attempts with a season-long of 36 yards and 29-of-31 on extra-point attempts last season. He accumulated 47 points to rank second on the team in scoring. Regan was also effective in the punting game, averaging 36.7 yards per attempt with 11 punts landing inside the 20 and 11 going for fair catches. He was a two-time NEFC Special Teams Player of the Week winner

Anderson finished in a tie for second on the defense with 66 tackles, including 22 solo, while also ranking among the team leaders in TFLs (10.5-40) and sacks (5.0-31). Anderson forced a fumble and blocked a kick. He was named NEFC Defensive Player of the Week for his role in helping Endicott secure a 26-16 win over Nichols in week six.

Endicott begins their 2015 campaign under first-year head coach Kevin DeWall on September 5th at home against Framingham State
