2015 Video Season Preview

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott football team begins its 2015 season at home against Framingham State University on Saturday, September 5 at 12 p.m. After their contest against the Rams, the Gulls will play in three straight road matchups before returning home versus MIT for Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, October 3. Now, here's a look at the full schedule and the upcoming season.

RETURNING CAST: Seniors Tyler Calitri (West Hartford, Conn.), Mike Romanelli (Lighthouse Point, Fla.), and Spencer Walsh (Melrose, Mass.), and juniors Craig Anderson (Franklin, Mass.) and Joe Picard (Essex Junction, Vt.) have all been picked as captains for the 2015 campaign.

Walsh led the squad last year in rushing yards, while Anderson and Romanelli finished second and sixth, respectively, in tackles for the Gulls to highlight the list of captains on the field. Anderson also was selected to the USA College Football Preseason All-America team earlier this fall along with junior placekicker and punter Kyle Regan (Nashua, N.H.).

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The Gulls remaining three home games will be played against Maine Maritime (Oct. 24, 12 PM), Curry (Nov. 7, 5:30 PM), and Coast Guard (Nov. 14, 12 PM).  Endicott's regular season finale versus Coast Guard will also serve as Senior Day for the Gulls.

The Gulls Week 2 matchup, on the road, features the No. 16 ranked team in the country, Hobart College.  Live stats and video will be available for the contest, which starts at 12 p.m.

Endicott's other remaining road games will be play against St. Lawrence (Sept. 19, 1 PM), Nichols (Sept. 26, 12 PM), Salve Regina (Oct. 17, 12 PM), and Western New England University (Oct. 31, 1 PM).

PRESEASON PLAUDITS: Endicott was picked to finish third – along with Salve Regina – in the New England Football Conference (NEFC) Preseason Poll.

YEAR IN REVIEW: The Gulls finished their 2014 season with a 5-5 record overall and 4-3 mark in conference play.
