Women’s Cross Country CNE Postseason Awards Announced

CNE RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Three members of the Endicott women's cross country team have earned Conference of New England (CNE) postseason honors.

Hannah Shepard (Keene, N.H.) received All-CNE Second accolades for her eighth place performance at the CNE Championships on Saturday, November 2.

Shepard covered the 6-kilometer layout in a school record/personal best time of 22:46.98.

Meanwhile, Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) earned All-CNE Third Team honors for her 11th place finish in 23:10.70 (personal best).

CNE All-Conference honors are awarded to the top-15 finishers at the championship meet (first 5 1st team, next 5 second team, final 5 third team).

Along with those merits, Cate Herndon (Westwood, Mass.) was named to the CNE Community Service Team.

The award replaced the Team Sportsmanship Award and highlights one student-athlete per institution who demonstrates a commitment to their community.
