Women’s Cross Country Finishes Ninth Overall At Cardinal Invitational

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — In a field full of nationally ranked programs and other regional powers, the Endicott women's cross country team finished ninth overall at the Cardinal Invitational on Saturday, hosted by Wesleyan University.

The Gulls' lineup posted six personal bests on the 6-kilometer course headlined by Hannah Shepard's (Keene, N.H.) time of 23:20.9 (48th overall).

Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) followed in 50th place (23:24.0, PR), while Alexa Suchy (Guilford, Conn.) ranked 71st (24:07.5).

Lulu Steele (Bedford, Mass.), Corinne Robert (Mattapoisett, Mass.), Alyson Bortz (Dover, N.H.), and Teagan Shaughnessy (Watertown, Mass.) all clocked in personal best times to round out the list of highlights (98th, 25:27.9 | 99th, 25:29 | 102nd, 25:43.5 | 109th, 26:03.7).
