SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The Endicott women's cross country team ranked second overall out of 14 programs at the Western New England Invitational on Saturday evening.
The Gulls placed four of their top-5 runners in the top-25 to finish behind the University of New England (52-75).
Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) and Hannah Shepard (Keene, N.H.) crossed the 6-kilometer finish line in tandem, just one second apart at 23:27 (6th) and 23:28 (7th).
Alexa Suchy (Guilford, Conn.) followed in 13th place (24:16), while Brianna am Ende (East Lyme, Conn.) and Lulu Steele (Bedford, Mass.) rounded out the top-5 in 20th (25:04) and 29th (25:26), respectively, among scoring teams.

Endicott will compete at the CNE Championship on Saturday, November 2 (hosted by WNE).
