Women’s Track & Field Posts Strong Showing At Sean Collier Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Endicott women's track and field team competed at the Sean Collier Invitational on Saturday evening.

Julia Maclaine (North Easton, Mass.) put together a career day in the 200m and 400m at MIT.

Maclaine finished ninth overall in the 400-meter run with a New England qualifying time of 1:00.00 (standard is 1:00.80). She also bettered her school record and personal record by 1.38 seconds.

In the 200m, Maclaine posted a school record/personal record time of 26.59 to finish eighth out of 41 competitors.

Maclaine's time broke a tie with Jordan Williams '23 (Boxford, Mass.) for the top spot on the 200m leaderboard.

Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) also broke her school record in the 800m to round out the list of highlights.

Risko finished eighth overall among 34 competitors in 2:19.27, bettering her New England qualifying time in the event and slightly edging her previous school record time of 2:19.45.
