BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's track and field student-athletes Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) and Alexa Suchy (Guilford, Conn.) have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the conference office earlier today.
Risko was named the CCC Track Athlete of the Week, while Suchy garnered CCC Track Rookie of the Week accolades for their performances last Saturday at the Jonathan Tymann Invitational.
This is Risko's second career honor and Suchy's first.
HANNAH RISKO, TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
- Risko headlined Endicott's event winners at the Jonathan Tymann Invitational with first place finishes in the 1,500 (4:51.28) and 800 (2:19.45)
- The junior also qualified for New England's and broke her school record in the 800m by more than two seconds.
ALEXA SUCHY, TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
- Suchy bested the field in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Jonathan Tymann Invitational on Saturday by more than 20 seconds with a personal best and New England qualifying time of 12:11.97
- The New England standard in the event is 12:15.00.
- Suchy was one of three competitors in the event and one of two freshmen to compete in the 3,000m steeplechase from the CCC

Endicott competes in the Saint Joseph's (Me.) Invitational this weekend (4/12-13).
