EAST PROVIDENCE, RI - Endicott's nine-game winning streak to start the season came to a close Sunday, 7-2, at the hands of Salve Regina.
The Seahawks remained undefeated (10-0, 8-0 CCC) and secured the top spot in the upcoming CCC Tournament, while the Gulls fell to 9-1 overall but claimed the second seed in the playoffs, however, with a 7-1 conference mark.
Endicott's winners were No. 5 singles Lauren Gibbons (Shaker Heights, OH/Shaker Heights), 6-1, 6-4, and first doubles Carli Conners (Medina, OH/Medina) and Kate Roundy (Simsbury, CT/Simsbury), 8-4.
