NEWPORT, R.I. – The No. 10 nationally ranked Endicott women's rugby team defeated No. 8 Salve Regina, 41-0, on Saturday evening.

Jourdan VanAmburgh (Selkirk, N.Y.) highlighted the Gulls offensively with three tries.

Chloe Marconi (North Andover, Mass.) also contributed two tries, while Elektra Cheney (Collinsville, Conn.) found the try zone once and buried three conversions.

Libby Cavanaugh (Barrington, N.H.) rounded out the scoring with one try of her own in the victory.

For her efforts, Marconi was named the "Rookie of the Match" for the Gulls.

Endicott (2-0, 2-0 CCRC) hosts UMass Dartmouth on Saturday, October 8 at 4:30 PM.
