BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott freshman midfielder Jaime Balboni (Billerica, Mass.) has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the week of February 29 to March 6 as announced today by the conference office.
Balboni potted a pair of goals in each of the Gulls' two non-conference games on the week against strong NEWMAC opponents, MIT on the road and Wheaton in the home opener on Saturday as her four shots turned into four goals.
Balboni scored her first career goal with 25:57 remaining in the first half against MIT and racked up a game-high seven draw controls in that game.
