WOMEN'S LACROSSE 2016 SEASON PREVIEW VIDEO

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's lacrosse team opens up its 2016 season on the road against MIT on Wednesday, March 2 at 6:00 p.m. Here's a look at the full schedule and the upcoming season for the Gulls.

RETURNING CAST (2016 Roster): The team returns 2015 All-CCC First Teamers in junior attack Meghan Lennon (Canton, Mass.), senior defender Elizabeth Reda (Wilton, Conn.), 2015 All-CCC Second Teamers in junior midfielder Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) who led the team in goals (50), assists (21) and total points (71), and junior goalie Maura Grady (Marblehead, Mass.), who ranked third in the conference in saves (142) and first in goals-against average (9.71). The Gulls are captained by Reda, senior defender Brenna Shannon (Stratham, N.H.), and senior attack Isabelle Sipperly (Greenwich, N.Y.). Endicott is coached by second-year head coach Morgan Maciewicz who led the Gulls to an 11-6 finish (6-2 CCC) in 2015 and a trip to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Semifinals.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR (2016 Schedule): The Gulls will play eight home games this season against the following opponents – Wheaton (3/5, 1 PM), Wellesley (3/9, 5 PM), Bowdoin (3/23, 5 PM), Babson (3/26, 12 PM), Gordon (3/30, 7 PM), Western New England (4/9, 12 PM), Wentworth (4/16, 3 PM, Senior Day), and the University of New England (4/26, 4 PM).

PRESEASON PLAUDITS: Endicott enters the 2016 season ranked second in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Preseason Coaches' Poll with 68 points and one first place vote as announced by the conference office on Friday, February 22.
