Women’s Ice Hockey Picked First In Colonial Hockey Conference Preseason Poll

COLONIAL HOCKEY CONFERENCE (CHC) PRESEASON POLL RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's ice hockey team has been picked to finish first overall in the Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) preseason poll for the upcoming 2016-17 season, as announced by the conference office earlier today.

In a vote conducted by the league's seven head coaches, the Gulls received four first-place votes, and 45 points total, to edge out defending CHC champion Stevenson University and Morrisville State College who finished second and third, respectively.

Last season, Endicott reached the CHC championship game in its first season as an NCAA varsity program behind a 14-7-4 overall record and an 11-1-2 league record.
