Will Connelly Claims Third CCC Rookie Of The Week Award

CCC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – For the third time this season, Endicott freshman Will Connelly (Barrington, R.I.) has claimed Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week accolades. Connelly is the only student-athlete on the men's side to earn CCC Rookie of the Week honors this fall.

Last weekend at the Bowdoin Invitational, Connelly placed 18th overall with a time of 27:31.8 on the 8-kilometer course. Connelly, who bettered his season best 8k time by over a minute (28:37.0), has now finished as the top CCC freshmen runner in every race he has competed in this fall.

Endicott returns to action on Saturday, October 8 in the James Early Invitational in Westfield, Mass. (Stanley Park) at 12 p.m.
