BRUNSWICK, Maine – Endicott junior harrier Zach Marshall (Hinesburg, Vt.) and freshman runner Will Connelly (Barrington, R.I.) both placed inside the top-20 at the Bowdoin Invitational to lead the men's cross country team to a fourth place finish yesterday afternoon.
Marshall covered the 8-kilometer course in 27:26.5 to finish 17th overall in his 2016 season debut, and Connelly came through at 27:31.8 to take 18th overall out of 90 runners.
James Dwyer (Berlin, Conn.) followed Marshall and Connelly in 24th place (27:55.9), while Patrick Finocchiaro (Salem, N.H.) and Adam Germaine (Guilford, Conn.) ranked 27th and 31st overall with times of 28:12.5 and 28:48.4, respectively.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Connelly ran a minute faster in comparison to his first 8k race of the season two weeks ago at the University of New England (UNE) Invitational.
- The Gulls placed fourth at least year's Bowdoin Invitational.
- Endicott has finished fourth overall in all three meets this season.
