Bryn Lipton Named NECC Men’s Volleyball Player Of The Week

NECC MEN'S VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott sophomore outside hitter Bryn Lipton (Rockford, Ill.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Men's Volleyball Player of the Week for his efforts in matches played from March 26-31.

Lipton guided Endicott to a 1-2 overall record last week, which included a key win over conference foe Elms, and losses against the reigning NCAA Division III Champion, No. 1 Springfield, and Cal Lutheran. In 11 sets played, Lipton compiled 41 kills (3.73 k/s), a .258 hitting percentage, three service aces, a .976 serve-receive percentage (84-for-86), 31 digs (2.82 d/s), and six blocks (two solo). Lipton also had a double-double against Elms on 19 kills and 12 digs, and notched 14 kills versus No. 1 Springfield. 

Today's award announcement marks the fifth time in Lipton's career that he has earned NECC Men's Volleyball Player of the Week accolades (2/13/17, 3/13/17, 3/27/17, 2/5/18, 4/2/18).

No. 14 Endicott (18-3, 9-0 NECC) is scheduled to host Lesley tomorrow at 6 and 8 PM.
