Troy Riorden Named NECC Men’s Volleyball Player Of The Week

NECC MEN'S VOLLEYBALL WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior Troy Riorden (Fairport, N.Y.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Men's Volleyball Player of the Week for his performances in matches played from February 19-25.

Last week against Dean College and Eastern Nazarene, Riorden guided Endicott to a 2-0 week in conference play by averaging 3.17 kills per set, to go along with 3.33 digs per set, 1.17 assists per set, and four service aces (0.67 per set). On the Gulls' Senior Day, Riorden shined, posting a double-double, via 12 kills and 10 digs in a 3-0 win over Eastern Nazarene. It marks the senior's second double-double of the season.

Today's NECC Men's Volleyball Player of the Week announcement also marks the second time in Riorden's career that he has won the award (2/26/18, 3/7/16).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (13-1, 4-0 NECC) travels to Newbury College on Wednesday, February 28 for a conference matchup at 7 PM.
