BEVERLY, MA - The Gulls fought hard, but the Seahawks played a solid night of tennis, defeating Endicott 7-2. The loss drops the Gulls to 3-9 overall, and 0-5 in CCC play.
One bright spot for the Gulls was the play of Sophomore Parker Olen (Falmouth, ME/Falmouth). Olen won both of his matches at No.6 singles, 6-2, 6-4.
Freshman Marc Maloney (Feeding Hills, MA/Agawam) and sophomore Nate Buell (Westfield, MA/Westfield) also played well for Endicott, winning their No.3 doubles match, 9-8, 8-6 (in tie-breaker).
The Gulls look to get back on track tomorrow as they face cross-town rival Gordon, here at Endicott (3:30).
