BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott men's lacrosse student-athletes Austin Fournier (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.) and Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Fournier was tabbed as the league's Defensive Player of the Week, while Pagluiso claimed Rookie of the Week accolades. This is the second career honor in each category for both student-athletes, respectively.
Last week against Nichols (3/31) and Roger Williams (4/3), Fournier was rock solid in cage for the Gulls in their pair of wins over the Bison and Hawks. Overall, Fournier registered a 7.85 goals against average, 23 saves (12-NC | 11-RWU), and a .622 save percentage in 106:57 of action.
Meanwhile, Pagluiso filled the stat sheet for the Gulls as the freshman attack produced five goals, four assists, seven ground balls, and one caused turnover combined against Nichols and Roger Williams.
