Final Stats

BOSTON, MA - The Endicott College men's lacrosse team posted 17 goals for the second straight game, this time in a 17-2 Commonwealth Coast Conference victory over the Wentworth Institute of Technology Leopards on Tuesday night in Boston, MA. The win marks the sixth straight for the Blue and Green.

The Gulls opened the scoring just five minutes into the first quarter as Dan Ryan (Billerica, MA/Billerica) and Josh Gilbert (Simsbury, CT/Simsbury) struck on back-to-back tallies just nine seconds apart to put Endicott up 2-0. That's the only scoring the Gulls would muster in the first 15 minutes, as Nick Lambros (Forestdale, MA/Sandwich) took a feed from Kyle Beck (Honeoye Falls, NY/Honeoye Falls-Lima) and beat Sean Kearney (Mahopac, NY/Mahopac) to pull the Leopards within one just :33 seconds before the end of the first.

That's as close as the home team would get however, as the Gulls turned the offensive pressure on and outscored Wentworth 15-1 over the next forty-five minutes of play, cruising to the 17-2 win. The Gulls went into the locker room with a 6-1 lead at the half, and then proceeded to score eight goals in the third to blow the game wide open.

Endicott's Josh Gilbert finished the game with five goals and two assists for seven points. Nick Cosco (Londonderry, NH/Londonderry), Eddie O'Reilly (Beverly, MA/Beverly) and Joe Gugino (West Hartford, CT/Conard) each found the back of the net twice while Brandon Dube (Danvers, MA/Danvers) chipped in for a goal and four assists in the win.

Endicott is now 7-1 overall and 3-0 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The Gulls will stay in CCC play on Friday, as they play host to Curry College in Beverly, MA. Endicott and Curry face-off at 4:00 PM.
