BRUNSWICK, Maine — The Endicott men's team finished third overall out of 21 teams at the Bowdoin Invitational over the weekend, hosted by Brunswick Golf Club (par 72 — 6,627 yards).
Tufts won the two-day invitational with a score of +11 (289, +1 | 298, +10 | 587), while Amherst followed in second (299, +11 | 292 +4 | 591), and Endicott came in third (301, +13 | 291, +3 | 592).
Myles O'Quinn (Durham, N.H.) shined for the Gulls in his second collegiate invitational, shooting +2 (77-69, 146) to finish fifth overall on the weekend.
The freshman carded a -3 round (69) on day two, the best of any golfer throughout the two-day invite.
Tyler Baker (Falmouth, Maine) ranked sixth overall with a +3 effort (71-76, 147) to give Endicott two finishers inside the top-10 of the 112-player field.
Brady Burke (Bedford, N.H.), Hadyn Kornusky (Topsfield, Mass.), and Will Pierce (Melrose, Mass.) filled out the rest of the lineup in 17th and 42nd place (+5, 74-75, 149 | +10, 79-75, 154 | +10, 82-72, 154).
BEYOND THE SCORECARD
- Endicott ranked ahead of Conference of New England (CNE) foes Roger Williams (6th, 607), Western New England (13th, 625), Suffolk (13th, 625), Nichols (15th, 631), and UNE (18th, 646).
- Baker has finished sixth or better in his last three seasons at the Bowdoin Invitational (2024: 6th, 147 | 2023: t-6th, 144 | 2022: t-1st, 148).
- O'Quinn registered six birdies and eight pars in his day two -3 round.
