BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's basketball team opens up its 2023-24 campaign on Sunday, November 12 against Tufts at 1 PM. Here's a look at the upcoming season:
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Gulls enter the winter third overall in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) preseason poll.
- The Blue and Green will compete in 11 games at MacDonald Gymnasium and 13 contests away from The Nest (12 away, one neutral).
- Head Coach Kevin Bettencourt enters year ten at the helm. He holds a 157-73 (.682) overall record and a 99-38 (.722) conference record.
- Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) is currently sitting at 1,500 career points, which marks fourth all-time in program history.
- The Gulls return reigning CCC Rookie of the Year Jeff Hill (Lynn, Mass.). Hill averaged 13.7 points per game (41.4 FG%, 34.4 3PT%, 88.3 FT%), 2.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.0 steals in 27.2 minutes per contest in 2022-23.
